CIPFP presentation day

 

On the 21st of October 2022 at the school CIPFP Ausiás March took place a conference in collaboration with the expert John McGowan, who came all the way from Ireland to talk about Entrepreneurship, and the ESFMB that asked us, its volunteers, to go talk about ESC, its opportunities and in general about our experience.

As all the participants started to arrive and sign their presence, so started the expert’s presentation too, explaining all about what goes on in an entrepreneur's mind, their personality, the partners, how to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals, while also keeping in mind what’s the next right thing to do.

Of course everyone was charmed by, not only his words but also by the way he talked, so passionate and full of wisdom.

After they took some time to answer any questions the students might have had, it was time for the volunteers to start their own presentation.

As soon as they called us on the stage we greeted everyone and introduced ourselves in order to then start right away with our presentation.

We started describing in a general way the types of volunteering one can expect to find on the ESC platform, to then focus on the individual volunteering, which is the one we are embarked on right now and consequently the one we know better. From the various accommodations like the house in which the volunteers would stay in, the pocket money, transportations, to even talk about what regards the health insurance and, of course, how to apply for a project and get in contact with hosting organizations. We then thanked everyone and once again, after the presentation was over we took some time to answer some questions and clear up any doubts there may have been among the students listening. In general the day went smoothly and it was very enjoyable, the topics were handy and interesting, overall a very enjoyable day.
