The EU Academy and the Online Language Support

 The EU Academy and the Online Language Support section allow you to learn a new language.


The aim is to give access to very good language learning to all young volunteers. The European Commission created the content and funded the project. It is also the politically independent executive arm of the European Union. It is solely responsible for drawing up proposals for new European legislation and implements the decisions of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.


The language learning path is on the Online Language Support (OLS).

You can choose one of the available languages in order to improve your language skills. You will find all the languages spoken in the EU from Norwegian to Maltese, and of course English.

It is open free of charge to all participants in Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.


Before starting your learning, you will be asked to perform a placement test. Following your level lessons in the form of fun videos will be offered. Different topics will be proposed to you. There will also be a cultural familiarization with the country or countries that speak the same language of your learning. This allows you to open your mind more and enrich yourself culturally.
