The presentation of European programmes

The aim of the ESFMB is to help as many young people as possible to travel, giving priority to the most disadvantaged and people that would have not this opportunity without European programmes.

Travelling is the best way to learn and grow. This is why the association promotes the "European Solidarity Corps" programme, which allows people to travel throughout Europe. We, as ESFMB, use many ways and means to disseminate the programmes and its opportunities, including presentations in training centres.

On April 18th, the 3 of us did one of these presentations in the Secondary School IES Les Alfabegues, in Bétera. We presented CES at students, preparing and training themselves to be fireman.

To start, we showed a video that Benita, one of us volunteers, has ideated and then we shot together. This short video was our way to present a day as a volunteer in ESFMB. What are our tasks, our habits, a tour of the offices, etc.

Under this paragraph, you can find the link of this video.

After, slides were projected on a wall to present what is the volunteering, what is supported, how find other information. We prepared a presentation for the students and then took turns presenting the slides in Castiglian and English. Sara translated in Castiglian for the students, whilst the other of us were presenting also in English.
Students were attentive, they asked many questions after the presentation.  It was a pleasure to answer all questions and to help other students to look for more opportunities for their future.

In the end, we shared a moment together to take a break. Our tutor brought appetizer and cakes for everyone. It was a pleasant moment.

If you are open to the idea of a presentation in your institution and want to know ESC, please contact us at info@esfmb.org.
